Check out this new poster for Angelina Jolie’s upcoming animated feature Beowulf, which is getting the deluxe IMAX treatment. Looks a little Tomb Raider-ish, no?
The Robert Zemeckis‘ (Forrest Gump, Polar Express) film will be released simultaneously in IMAX 3D and regular theaters on Nov. 16.
“IMAX 3D has enabled us to tell stories in a whole new way, and we are very excited to offer moviegoers a chance to experience Beowulf in this incredible format,” said Zemeckis. “IMAX lends itself to the incredible image detail in Beowulf and in 3D, it will transport the audience directly into the story.”
Beowulf will also star Ray Winstone as the warrior Beowulf, Anthony Hopkins, Crispin Glover, and John Malkovich. Sounds like there are a lot of baddies in this movie. Love it!
Here are pictures from 2005 of when they shot the posters/movie stuff:

She is so thin now that this poster looks enhanced. She's not that curvy anymore.
1It is her actualy body, in 2005 before she lost weight. I added some pictures of when they were "filming". I hope she is back to this "fighting weight" soon! She looked gorgeous! (Not that she isnt now
)
2That has to be a joke. Beowulf is animated and she's Grendel's mother, and that's the same shape as the Tomb Raider poster- boobs and all.
3She always looks great.
4i love her she is beautiful sexy and successful women and i think she is a good mother to
5Those pics are crazy to see what they put on her face and body...its an interesting process though. I agree that she is gorgeous now but I'd like to see her back to her curvier days.
6Wow. I can't imagine having to go through all that, but she does look amazing! I hope she gets her curves back soon.
7I am wondering if it was released as a ruse or if they purposely made another character look like Angie or they may be blatently using angie's image to fool people into thinking she is a human character in this film.
It is a very confusing poster considering the subject matter of Beowolf. She plays Grendel's mother (a monster). I am sure all of the sensors while filming was so they could transfer Angie's facial movements and body movements into the animation to make it real. But still an animated monster.
I just do not get it.
I am sure she will put more weight on soon.
Its weird not seeing any new pics of them , but good for them getting a break from the paps.

9Ok then.
10Angelina @ Comic-Con for Beowulf?
It doesn't look like Angelina is scheduled to appear for Beowulf -- but Comic-Con's always come up with huge surprises, so never say never. I don't know if Angelina is done with filming Wanted or if she has another month to go.
The first & only time I saw Angelina in person was at the 2002 Comic Con where she was promoting her 2nd Lara Craft movie. Yes, she's as incredibly beautiful in person as in pictures. When Q&A started, I expected long lines of geeks & fanboys at the mikes. Surprisingly, there were lines and lines of young women testifying how Angelina had been a role model for them -- that they had felt dark, angry, sad and lonely, and had cut themselves too. Angelina had given them hope that they would get through it. My husband and I compared Angelina with Halle Berry's talk (the whole X-Men cast were there), and we both agreed that Halle had been very nice, but that Angelina had made each one of us 6000 in that SRO hall feel as if she was looking into our eyes and speaking to us personally.
I wasn't going to go this year but I might to catch the BEOWULF PREVIEW, get Indy Jones news, listen to Robert Downey Jr.'s panel, and see George Romero, Masi Oka, Matt Groening, Lisa Simpson, Kevin Smith, AND CLIVE OWEN & HIS NEW MOVIE SHOOT 'EM UP!
